Along with doing physio, getting my shoulder stronger, being at work, getting back my riding skills/strength/confidence, socialising (what seeing friends!), watering and weeding the garden, and attending my fab writing group, I’ve also been creating a new story.
The new short story is about a mountain bike bike-packing trip, a cunning vampire, and a lesbian ‘first kiss’. It will be funny, probably a bit twisted and full of sapphic sighs and longing.
So far it’s fun. Lots of my stories are fun. I’m working towards creating a short story collection of lewd and lustful lesbian tales, and maybe another full of strange and queer speculative fiction. I feel like I need at least 6 good tales in each collection. I’m getting there.
